Wifi coverage analysis

Simulation on plan

Definition of the needs and simulation: You wish to plan a WiFi coverage for a building in project phase, in construction or in renovation? Based on the plans and the needs analysis, we carry out a simulation using a specific software. The result will allow you to plan the ideal location of the access points according to the desired coverage, as well as to optimize the number of access points.

3D Modeling

wifi-simulation

New installation, replacement or WiFi extension: 3D modeling on plan aims to determine the number of access points and their location according to the desired coverage and performance. The interaction between floors is taken into account thanks to the 3D modeling which allows to superimpose the plans.

Take into account the technology

The simulation takes into account the type of access point you want to use for your WiFi coverage. Our system recognizes the different models of access points (AP) from market leaders such as Aruba, Aerohive, Cisco, Meraki, Motorola, Ruckus Wireless, 3Com, etc.

Coverage measures

The site survey aims either to verify the coverage of an existing WiFi installation, or to plan a WiFi installation to be realized.

Deployment

Informatique Nexan ensures a complete follow-up of your Wifi project:

  • Definition of needs and objectives
  • Analysis on site (site survey) or modeling
  • Integration
  • Measurement and validation of the coverage, detection of possible disturbances
  • Preventive maintenance, monitoring, technical assistance and troubleshooting on site

Disturbance analysis

Spectrum analysis allows to detect, identify and neutralize the sources of disturbances affecting WiFi 2.4 and 5 Ghz networks. Typically, interfering elements such as microwaves, cameras, GSM and DECT phones use a frequency range similar to WiFi equipment. Interference caused by these equipments affects the performance and reliability of WiFi networks, causing connection interruptions, performance degradation etc.
